• The Change Management Specialist will play an integral role in the success of the business transformation group in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget and that adoption is optimal to drive benefit realization.
• This person will focus on the people side of change - including changes to processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be to implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption, improve utilization and minimize resistance with the objective of ensuring project benefit realization.
• As a member of the transformation team, this role will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization and greater proficiency in adapting to change. The primary goal of these change management efforts is to increase benefit realization, drive value creation and promote ROI.
• This professional will have responsibility for coaching and guiding project teams in defining and executing change management plans to deliver stakeholder engagement, business impact assessments and transition plans that ultimately result in business transformation.
• This position will work directly with the Change Management/Transformation Expert Program Manager, Business Transformation Lead, Project Managers, project teams and business stakeholders to plan, develop, and execute various change management strategies and deliverables (i.e. Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Assessment, Communication Analysis, Transition Plan and Adoption Plan).

  • Engage in change initiatives to help the organization and leaders anticipate, lead, and embrace change
  • Guide the advancement of the change management discipline and ensure the understanding and adoption of common methodology and standards by leading training and providing coaching
  • Partner with project manager/work effort lead to integrate business change management activities into project plan
  • Manage the relationships and interfaces with multiple initiatives by serving as a liaison with project teams, work leads, stakeholders and champions. Advises on the implications and risks, and makes recommendations on factors that may impact change adoption and sustainability
  • Partner with Business Transformation Lead and Change Management/Transformation Expert Program Manager to ensure change management methodology is embedded into key projects, programs and processes
  • Provide change management support, coaching and mentoring to business leads, project teams and stakeholders on change management methodology and deliverables
  • Establish key performance indicators and develop metrics to track execution, monitor progress against key change management deliverables and measure success of the change strategies
  • Work to drive faster adoption, improve utilization, and create greater proficiency in managing the transitions that impact employees
  • Establish regular meeting and reporting cadence with the cross functional Business Transformation teams to provide timely and accurate updates on key progress results, achievements, issues and risks
  • Assess change impact, identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans
  • Provide methods and guidance to business leaders to make informed decisions which facilitate the adoption of supporting change process
  • Responsible for supporting the BT Leads and Project Managers in planning and execution of change management deliverables by acting as the technical change management expert on designated project teams through all project phases. This includes but is not limited to coaching on the creation of the preliminary plan, knowledge transfer, organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis and engagement, communication strategy and plan, change management charter, dashboard and sustainability plan
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and establishes yourself as a trusted partner

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Familiarity with project management or change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • The ability to set priorities, work on numerous initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills - oral and written
  • Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of organizations
  • Proficiency with MS office suite of applications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree from an accredited institution with focus area in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Organizational Psychology/Development or Human Resources
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizationalissues and challenges
  • Demonstrated change management experience in the areas of: communications, stakeholder engagement, training, adoption/change measurement, leadership engagement/development
  • Strong project management experience with key skills in scoping, designing and delivering business transformation activities
