Overview: This position represents a senior management position that has responsibility for the performance of the online shopping function of the organization. They establish the strategic direction, develop business plans and define key performance measures including sales and profitability targets. This person is responsible for developing programs, processes and measures that assure the accomplishment of the strategic goals.
Day in the Life:
Location: Primarily in an office setting.
What to Expect: We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a friction-less shopping experience. You will be responsible for providing leadership in the area of establishing the strategic vision and direction for the online shopping function incorporating consumer shopping trends, competitive developments, technology, pricing profitability and sales objectives that are supportive of and contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic goals and key initiatives. In addition, you will p articipate in the development of profitability objectives for online shopping function and establish programs and services that maximize the accomplishment of such objectives, r eview financial performance reports and analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities to obtain cost savings objectives through efficient planning of resources, including labor, in addition to building strong partnerships and influence across retail and corporate leadership while leading a team that is grounded in a world class service culture.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field in addition to seven years' experience leading operations in grocery, retail, or CPG businesses and three or more years leading eCommerce operations.
