Job Summary

* Telework (Within Minnesota or Neighboring States) and flexible hour options may be available.

The Change Management Team Lead provides leadership, oversight and coordination of activities, functions, operations, processes and procedures of the state's child welfare Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program area in order to meet Department priorities and comply with state and federal requirements.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Lead work, coordination and coaching for a team of professionals conducting Child and Family Service Reviews (CFSRs)
  • Conducting a small number of CFSR case reviews.
  • Leading state planning and coordination of the CFSR process, as well as
  • Ensuring coordination across division units to ensure CQI activities are appropriate across policy-specific indicators and priorities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.

Three (3) years of professional experience in Social Services or Public Welfare Systems

Experience must demonstrate:
  • Knowledge of child welfare, child protection and foster care programs and standards
  • Knowledge of best practice in continuous quality improvement, implementation science and safety science
  • Experience using technology system tools such as e.g. Microsoft Office, Social Service Information System (SSIS) to conduct case reviews, research, communicate and educate

Preferred Qualifications
  • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Experience in organizing and developing project work plans, manage programs and policies to coordinate social services

Additional Requirements
  • Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check will be conducted on all finalists for this position. Finalists must pass the DHS background check.
