A3 is an innovative approach to provide timely and appropriate behavioral health crisis services to anyone, anywhere at anytime in Contra Costa County. Minimum Qualifications Mental Health Community Support Worker I Education : Current enrollment in or successful completion of a training program approved by the County Costa County Behavioral Health Division. Examples of approved training programs include: 1) Service Provider Individualized Recovery Intensive Training (SPIRIT); 2) National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) Family-to-Family training; and Family Partnership Training. Mental Health Community Support Worker II Education: Successful completion of a training program approved by the County Costa County Behavioral Health Division. Experience: Two (2) years of full-time, or its equivalent, experience providing peer counseling to mental health clients and/or, parents and families of children who are seriously emotionally disturbed, and/or parent of families of seriously and persistently mentally ill adults. Examples of approved training programs include: 1) Service Provider Individualized Recovery Intensive Training (SPIRIT); 2) National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) Family-to-Family training; and Family Partnership Training.
