Job Summary Help play a meaningful role in the health of Minnesotans by managing the work of the Injury and Violence Prevention Section (IVPS) in the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease (HPCD) Division at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). A dynamic individual with a passion for public health and related policy and programs that affect how injury and violence prevention policy, programs and practices are implemented and evaluated, is sought to join the IVPS team as the Injury Prevention Program Director and Section Manager. Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
This position is telework eligible for applicants who reside in Minnesota. Position location will be determined by the top candidate and will be based out of a Minnesota Department of Health district office. Over the calendar year and during legislative session, the position has requirements to be in person for various meetings or hearings in St. Paul. The position telework schedule will be based on the business needs of the unit and supervisory discretion.
