About the Role

The Part-time Production Assistant performs a vital role in timely and efficient newspaper production and distribution of company publications - The Wall Street Journal & Barron's. You will report to the Foreman/Woman and be on-site at the Federal Way, Washington Print Plant.

Salary: $21.41 Hourly Rate

Sign-on Bonus: $1500

You Will:
  • Set-up, operate and perform light maintenance of state-of-the-art programmable equipment in the pre-press and packaging areas.
  • Prepare product delivery documentation, and facilitate organized bundled newspapers to delivery trucks.
  • Work the following schedule:
  • DAYS PER WEEK: 5 (30-35 hours per week) Facility is in operation Sunday - Friday
  • HOURS/SHIFT: 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm (Start time varies depending on business needs)
  • DAYS OFF: Varies. Must be willing to work holidays


You Have:
  • A High School diploma (or GED Equivalent), or equivalent work experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Solid computer skills (Google & Microsoft Office applications).

Pay Range: $35,000 - $85,000
