Board certification in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Pediatric Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and/or Neuro-Oncology, and an unrestricted state medical license.
Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center at UK Healthcare is seeking an academic medical oncologist (an exceptional established assistant, associate or professor) who is a recognized national leader in the diagnosis and treatment of GI cancers with an active clinical practice. External funding and skills and expertise in cancer genomics and/or precision medicine is strongly preferred. The faculty member will maintain a clinical practice and have a key leadership role in programmatic growth, expansion of MCC’s clinical trials program, and development of translational research in coordination with the three
MCC Research Programs: Cancer Prevention and Control (CP), Molecular and Cellular Oncology (
MCO), and Translational Oncology (TO). There is a competitive start-up package, including an endowed chair.
