The Stellar Group Plumbing Superintendent US-GA-Atlanta Job ID: 2024-2014 Type: Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Construction Atlanta, GA Overview Stellar has an immediate opening for a Plumbing Superintendent with a Master Plumbers license for a food processing facility project in Perry, Georgia. Responsibilities Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for: Planning, coordinating, and supervising multiple work crews and all assigned employees on those teams Ensuring all work is well-planned, supplied and executed safely and efficiently Creating daily reports, tracking progress, time submission, and other administrative duties as required to accurately track performance and progress Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent Georgia Master Plumber license 10+ years of experience, including 5 years as a Supervisor Food Processing Plant experience is a major plus Experience with UG DWV systems and competent skills in Trenching and Shoring Deep and shallow UG pipe installations Rough in and top out experience OSHA 30 SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to interpret drawings and lay out field piping Lead and manage the work of multiple work crews Experience with Leica equipment preferred Ability to shoot grade and determine depth and slopes of installed systems Strong math skills Mechanical aptitude ADA requirements for clearances, heights, etc. Strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills About Stellar Stellar offers a comprehensive package which includes: Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off – accrue 15 days (120 hours) within first year of service Paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA) Company-paid life and disability insurance 401(k) – company match with immediate vesting Stellar, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is a fully integrated firm focusing on design, construction, architecture, engineering, and mechanical services worldwide for over 30 years.
