Posting Details Job ID: 136352 Rank: Instructor/Professional Lecturer College/School: Chicago, IL - College of Science and Health Responsibilities: The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for two 10-month non-tenure track faculty positions to begin July 1, 2024, with teaching responsibilities commencing in the Fall of 2024. The area of applicant specialization within Biology is open. We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of effectiveness or potential as an instructor for a variety of courses and a commitment to continued development as an educator. Successful candidates will be passionate about engaging with motivated students from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities will include teaching courses and lab sections for science majors, non-science majors, and graduate students. The specific courses will depend on the area of applicant specialization. Providing mentoring for course-based student research and working with the Center for Teaching and Learning for continued professional development are also a possibility for motivated individuals. About the College The College of Science and Health is the third largest college at DePaul, enrolling over 3,000 students. The college includes programs in biology, chemistry and biochemistry, environmental science and studies, health sciences, mathematics, neuroscience, nursing, occupational therapy, physics and astrophysics, psychology, and speech language pathology.
