ISS STOXX is hiring! Our sales team seeks a high-energy, hardworking team player, Account Executive with business development and sales experience in software, research, or information services within the financial services industry. 

In this role, you will represent ISS STOXX's leading suite of solutions in the institutional investor market - one of the largest full-service providers of sustainability services in the marketplace.

Your core focus will be driving new recurring sustainability sales to new logos, along with selected existing ISS STOXX clients who are targets for sustainability cross sales. You will run a territory of target names across Asset Managers, Wealth Managers and RIAs, Insurance firms, and Alternative Managers with the support of business development representatives, client success professionals, and business experts assisting in your sales process.

We’ll trust you to

  • Achieve individual new recurring revenue goals
  • Develop and execute regional sales plan
  • Maintain high levels of sales activity, including in-person and virtual meetings, prospecting campaigns
  • Collaborate with ISS' Institutional Sales teams to promote cross sales of Governance Solutions into ESG logos you bring in.
  • Liaise with Sales Management colleagues to discuss market trends, sales strategy, and client needs
  • Partner with ISS' Client Success teams during the sales cycle for both subject matter support and to ensure an efficient onboarding experience for new clients
  • Drive new business initiatives with targeted campaigns to your client base in partnership with our Business Development Representatives and Marketing team
  • Return to travel expected for onsite client visits, conference attendance, ISS internal meetings

Your performance will be measured by

  • Achievement of Sales quotas
  • KPIs include meeting activity, new opportunities created, prospecting campaigns run
  • Ability to share information across the sales group
  • Communication of market developments to marketing and product team
  • Completion of assigned training coursework in support of sales
  • Qualified cross sale leads for ISS’ Governance Research & Voting services

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an individual contributor sales role (Preferably in the financial services or information services industry with a SaaS based product).
  • Demonstrated experience in a hunting and prospecting capacity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent as a minimum
  • Strong presentation skills including application demonstrations
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Problem-solving skills

This role is only being recruited in New York City.

Base salary: The New York City expected base pay range is $90,000 - $110,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.

The role is bonus or sales incentive eligible.
