The Associate ERP Business Analyst II – RTR will provide IT operational, maintenance and project support related to the Record-to-Report (RTR) business processes and systems, which include SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Project Systems (PS), and Plant Maintenance (PM) functionality. As a member of the IT Business Systems team, the Associate ERP Business Analyst II – RTR will work with cross-functional teams within IT and the business to maintain and optimize the ERP application environment required to support the RTR process environment.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Provide the execution of IT support, maintenance, and project activities within the global ERP Record-to-Report business process environment in alignment with overall organizational strategies, goals, and objectives. This includes investigating and assisting in resolving system-related issues, as required.
  • Work with business representatives and IT teams in order to design, develop, and implement information technology solutions to support the organization’s business processes.
  • Support and maintain FI/CO/PS/PM functionality, configuration, and technical objects within the ERP environment.
  • Provide guidance to business in developing tests and training plans and materials. Assist in ERP testing and quality monitoring activities and procedures.
  • Provide functional assistance to reporting team and end-users in ensuring that the organization's FI/CO/PS/PM and overall Record-to-Report reporting requirements are achieved.
  • Maintain documentation of system design and changes related to FI/CO/PS/PM configuration, developments, and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (MIS degree is preferred)
  • Equivalent work experience is acceptable in lieu of preferred education/degree
  • 2-3 years Experience in working with SAP or equivalent ERP system, including master data design, process design, and configuration is required
  • 2-3 years Varied interpersonal and technical skills, along with demonstrated skills in interacting with members from all organizational levels to diagnose problems, develop, and implement solutions is required
  • 2-3 years Scoping, requirements gathering/definition, configuration, documentation, testing, training, cutover and support is required
  • 2-3 Years Experience in product costing in a manufacturing environment is desirable
  • 2-3 Years: Experience in working in cross-cultural teams with non-native English speaking team members is desirable
  • 2-3 Years: Participation in successful SAP implementations (full life cycle), including global and multi-national rollouts is preferred
  • 2-3 Years: Working with SAP Finance, Controlling, Project Systems and/or Plant Maintenance or equivalent ERP system functionality is preferred
  • Broad understanding of SAP from a functional perspective, including an understanding of the key integration areas between FI/CO/PS/PM and the other modules and processes, is preferred
  • Strong core skills – communication, organization and planning, internal customer facing, and interpersonal is preferred
