Job Description
Chronicle Heritage is seeking an On-Call Staff Architectural Historian/Historian who can assist in research and writing tasks on moderate to complex archival research, windshield and reconnaissance surveys, and can prepare built environment assessments and reports. The On-Call Staff Architectural Historian will lead reconnaissance to inventory-level surveys and assist with efforts to identify and document buildings, structures, objects, districts and historic landscapes. They may also assist with developing National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and local register significance evaluations and assessments of effect. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of areas including:
Hire Type: Non-exempt, hourly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, on an as-needed basis, unless longer fieldwork deployments are necessary
