Based in New York City, this senior-level editor must be experienced in meeting the needs of financial professional investors, seeking real-time delivery of news, analysis and insights. The successful candidate will have top-notch editing and management skills, along with the news judgment to assign, curate, and package content for a sophisticated, professional audience. The editor must understand the demands of a real-time news cycle and be comfortable making fast, independent decisions, while also being proactive with reporters and editors to push for the best possible work prior to publication. Senior publishing editors are expected to direct the work of other editors and reporters on the newswires shift, and coordinate across the entire news organization - including with reporters for newswires and WSJ, stringers, technicians and colleagues across the globe.
