Crane Currency has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician, based out of Dalton, MA.

How you will make an impact:

Your work and day-to-day operations are the heartbeat that keeps the site up and running. Our internal and external customers rely on your skills and experience to troubleshoot and creatively solve challenges that arise within the manufacturing site. Your people skills will help create relationships throughout different teams allowing you to suggest continuous improvement opportunities. You will work on projects that increase the efficiency of our site and help ensure products are delivered safely and on time.

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dalton, MA to work in an environment that fosters learning and collaboration. This position is responsible for performing all duties defined by maintenance Supervisor. This includes but not limited to installation, maintenance and repair of all assigned equipment, components and systems to include, raw materials processing, papermaking and process related equipment, paper converting equipment, mechanical power transmission components and systems, electric motors, compressors and pumps, valves and piping systems, fans and blowers, hydraulic components and systems, mechanical assemblies, material handling equipment. These responsibilities include: preventative maintenance, trouble calls, night calls, and carrying out project work in all areas of manufacturing.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• High School Diploma with minimum 1 year experience in support services or production.

• 1+ years’ experience in Paper or Paper related industry preferred.

• Other industrial/mechanical experience may be considered in lieu of paper industry experience.

• Proven mechanical aptitude and ability.

• Solid troubleshooting, analytical, skills.

• Root cause failure analysis skills.

• Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, JD Edwards, MS Word, MS Excel).
