DevOps Engineer, Lakeville, Minnesota

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the IT Manager, the DevOps Engineer is responsible for overseeing the development of DevOps pipelines for both QA and Production environments for all ImageTrend products and managing the deployment of all updates, including the investigation and remediation of issues, failures, and redeployments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Builds DevOps pipelines for new ImageTrend products in accordance with product specifications

2. Develops and maintains DevOps pipelines for existing ImageTrend products

3. Updates DevOps pipelines to support all ImageTrend hosting environments in both colocation and cloud infrastructure

4. Supports all automation engineering initiatives within IT, including writing new scripts tools and modifying existing ones

5. Continues to automate and improve development and release processes

6. Documents through established systems (Zendesk, Azure DevOps)

7. Flexibility in collaborating with product managers, application developers and IT systems engineers, both onsite and virtually

8. Additional duties as assigned

1. Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field

2. Experience as DevOps Engineer

3. Capacity to solve complex problems utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills to drive results against requirements, strong attention to detail

4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

5. Process-oriented with great documentation skills

6. Expert in DevOps and Agile principles

7. Preferred advanced experience, but not limited to the following technologies: YAML, Azure DevOps, Git, Powershell

8. Ability to work onsite at the corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MN, up to a few days per week.
