Physical Requirements
Ability to sweep, mop, vacuum, operate floor scrubber/buffer, and perform other cleaning duties. Ability to lift, push, pull and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to engage in regular/routine standing, walking, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing. Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Shift
Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.); occasional nights, weekends or holidays may be required
Job Summary
Job Title: Extension Custodian – Livingston County
Location: Smithland, KY
As an Extension Custodian, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness and other basic custodial aspects of the Extension office.

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
You will report to an Extension Agent and there will be some interaction with the general public. State law may require a national and state criminal check and a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a check of child abuse and neglect records as a condition of employment or involvement in this program. Salary Range: $15.15 – $16.00
Some previous experience in the maintenance/janitorial field.
