FedPoint is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Carrier Services Team Leader. As the Carrier Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the carrier support functions performed by our Data Quality Analysts, ensuring the integrity of enrollment and premium data feeds and reports, performing reconciliations, attending monthly carrier calls, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Data Quality Analysts (60% of the role):

- Supervise the workflow of Data Quality Analysts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all FEDVIP carrier premium and enrollment reports/feeds.

- Participate in the hiring process and provide new hire training.

- Provide feedback, coaching, and document coaching sessions as needed.

- Review metrics to identify process improvement opportunities.

- Develop individual objectives aligned with department objectives and conduct timely performance reviews.

- Monitor and approve bi-weekly payroll.

- Maintain carrier-related documentation and collaborate with carriers to gather reporting requirements.

Provide technical support (35% of the role):

- Oversee the department's system change control process.

- Perform root cause analysis on critical system issues and communicate resolution plans to stakeholders.

- Coordinate user acceptance testing and assist with release training.

- Handle and track daily batch issues and participate in requirements gathering.

Relationship Maintenance (4% of the role):

- Build and maintain relationships with FEDVIP Premium Administration team leads, Business System Support group, and BENEFEDS Customer Service Team.

- Foster collaboration with peers in other programs.

Miscellaneous (1% of the role):

- Represent the department's interests on special projects.

- Perform other related duties as required and assigned in support of the Administration team.

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of Premium Administration or technical support role or experience in administering employee benefits or payroll
  • 1+ years of training, mentoring, or coaching
  • Proven analytics skills required
  • Advanced skills in SQL and VBA coding preferred
  • Proficient skills in VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
  • Proficient skills in SharePoint
  • Must possess excellent mathematical, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Strong professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic knowledge of FEDVIP regulations preferred
  • Knowledge of general data transmission concepts, such as file formats, transmission methods and controls

Location: Our office is located in Portsmouth, NH. This is a hybrid role with 2 days required in office.
