Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for an Inspection Machine Operator (1st Shift). Based out of Nashua, New Hampshire.

You will get the chance to expand on your current skillset by working in manufacturing processes fueled by technology pushing the next generation of currency around the world.

This position’s primary function is operating inspection/finishing equipment to provide finished goods which meet all customer requirements.

  • Identify and eliminate all rejectable material to meet customer requirements.
  • Thoroughly understand specifications for product construction, defect identification, and terminology.
  • Follow SOPs for material handling, material elimination, record keeping, shipment, security and safety.
  • Perform quality tests and report non-conformance issues.
  • Keep neat and accurate records.
  • Other duties to maximize efficient operations.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude & dexterity to perform basic repairs to the machinery.
  • Industrial Math skills.
  • Ability to learn basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write, keep neat, accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25-lbs.
  • Must be a United States Citizen with an ability to demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust

Preferred:

  • Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred.
  • Previous chemical handling experience a plus
