JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary/Objective

Manage the AR cash postings on a daily basis for all North America Rail Companies. Work with AR responsible parties to ensure proper account postings are completed.

Essential Functions

1. Review and release debit memos created by purchasing. Mail debit memo’s to proper address for each vendor.

2. Manage the weekly reports for 401K percentage changes and loan deductions. Make updates in payroll as required ensuring accurate updates.

3. Complete weekly HSA files and send to HR Benefit Coordinator for upload and payment.

4. Complete weekly 401K contribution files. Provide to AP for payment processing on a weekly basis.

5. Download the payroll reports into the appropriate payroll report folders on a weekly basis.

6. Process payroll for all employees, which includes maintaining and ensuring compliance for multiple states and cities. Ensure compliance for all company HR Policies and Procedures are followed.

7. Manage all payroll changes and updates for direct deposit, tax withholding, and garnishments and support orders.

8. Process individual salary adjustments or other changes affecting employee's payroll status in Work Force Now, including uploading idoc’s for new hires, transfers, terminations, paid or unpaid leaves of absence.

9. Assist in verifying all weekly, monthly and quarterly closings of payroll as well as W2 and T4 form preparation.

10. Assist in the completion of the calculation of vacation and sick pay yearly and for any new hires.

11. Prepare and distribute paychecks to all employees. Promote direct deposit and paperless payroll.

12. Process Canadian payroll on a bi-weekly basis. Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of data for all Canadian employees.

13. Assist in completing the process for headcount reporting and KPI reporting.

14. Assist in completing the updating of W-2 forms for disability, workers compensation, vehicle allowance, and relocation adjustments. Enter these adjustments into the payroll system prior to yearend.

15. Work on special projects as assigned.

16. Assist with Accounts Payable processing to cover for vacations, sickness or as needed.

17. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.

18. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.

19. Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.

20. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
