The Population Research Center engages in demographic research with public policy applications. The post-doctoral researcher will be responsible for the development of statistical framework for computation of confidence or credible intervals via simulation or other methods from a method for generating small area estimates based on census and survey data. Data for high level geographies are allocated to more granular geographic levels by use of weighting surfaces computed from correlated small area data.

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
The starting annual salary for this position will be $61,008 but may be negotiated above this rate dependent upon the the number of full years of relevant post doctoral experience :
